Bogdana Monastery
Bogdana Monastery is a Romanian Orthodox monastery in the town of Rădăuți, northern Romania. Its church is the oldest still standing religious building in Moldavia. The monastery was built by Bogdan I of Moldavia (1359–1365) sometime around 1360. Burials It was to become his and some the Mușatini voievodes necropolis. Here are buried all the rulers of Moldavia from Bogdan I to Alexandru cel Bun. Bogdana is a commune in Vaslui County, Western Moldavia, Romania. The commune of Bogdana is one of the most developed communes of Vaslui County from an agricultural and economic point of view. Bogdana is situated in the central-west part of Vaslui county. It falls within the region of the Tutova Hills, with the hilly landscape characteristic of that zone. Ștefan cel Mare is a Commune in Romania, commune in Bacău County, Western Moldavia, Romania, named after Stephen the Great. It is composed of six villages: Bogdana, Gutinaș, Negoiești, Rădeana, Ștefan cel Mare and Viișoara.
