Boerne Independent School District is a public school district based in Boerne, Texas (USA). Located in Kendall County, portions of the district extend into Bexar and Comal counties. In addition to Boerne, the communities of Fair Oaks Ranch and Scenic Oaks also lie within the district. Academic Achievement In the 2021-2022 school year, Boerne ISD received a rating of 'A' from the Texas Education Agency on its A-F scale. The district also received ‘A’ ratings in the 2017-2018 and 2018-19 school years; the TEA did not rate school districts in the 2019-2020 or 2020-21 school year due to the pandemic. Scenic Oaks is a census-designated place (CDP) in Bexar County, Texas, United States. It is part of the San Antonio Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 10,458 at the 2010 census, up from 4,957 at the 2010 census. Geography Scenic Oaks is located in northern Bexar County. It is bordered by Interstate 10 to the east, by the city of San Antonio to the southeast, by the CDP of Cross Mountain to the south, and to the north by Balcones Creek, forming the border with Kendall County. A portion of the CDP is taken up by the gated community of Scenic Oaks. Via Interstate 10 it is south to downtown San Antonio and northwest to Boerne. Boerne High School is a public high school located in the hill country just 30 miles northwest of San Antonio in Boerne, Texas, USA. The high school used to be the only high school in Boerne which now has a second high school, Boerne Samuel V. Champion High School. Fair Oaks Ranch is a city in Bexar, Comal, and Kendall counties in the U.S. state of Texas. The population was 5,986 at the 2010 census and an estimated 9,700 in 2018. In order to serve the numerous individual school districts and charter schools in Texas, Texas Education Agency (TEA) is divided into 20 regions, each containing an Educational Service Center, or ESC. These are also sometimes called Regional Service Centers, or RSC.
