Cini Boeri
Cini Boeri (19 June 1924 – 9 September 2020) was an Italian architect and designer. Career Boeri earned her degree at the Politecnico di Milano university in 1951. At that time, there were more female interior designers than architects because it was thought that women were too fragile to work outside. After collaborating with Marco Zanuso from 1951 through 1963, she started an independent architectural practice. Her main focuses in architecture were civil and interior architecture, as well as industrial design. In the 1970s, Boeri began designing showrooms for Knoll in Europe and America. She also designed a variety of sofas and chairs for the company, some of which are still in production today. In addition, she worked for a variety of other design companies, including lighting company Artemide, furniture company Arflex, and the housewares company Rosenthal. Michel Boeri is the current president of the FIA's Senate and a vice-president of the World Motor Sport Council. He is also the president of the Automobile Club de Monaco and has held political places in Monaco's government. At one time he was expected to succeed Jean-Marie Balestre as president of the FIA, but Max Mosley got the post instead. Petrus Boeri
Petrus Boeri (b. during the first quarter of the 14th century at Laredorte, Aude, canton of Peyriac Minervois; d. probably 1388) was a French Benedictine canonist and bishop. Life Of his early life nothing is known. In 1350, when he is first mentioned, Boeri was Abbot of St. Chinian ( St. Anianus, Hérault) in the small diocese of Saint-Pons de Tomièrs (Sancti Pontii Tomeriarum) which at that time formed a part of the Metropolitan Province of Narbonne. He attracted the favourable notice of Pope Urban V, who appointed him Bishop of Orvieto, 16 November 1364. A few years later (7 October 1370) he was transferred by the same pontiff to the See of Vaison, near Avignon in France. But in 1371, shortly after Urban's death, he returned to Orvieto and remained in possession of that see until 28 June 1379, when he was deprived of his bishopric by Pope Urban VI, for having espoused the cause of the Antipope Robert of Geneva, then reigning at Avignon as Clement VII. Stefano Boeri
Stefano Boeri (born 25 November 1956) is an Italian architect and urban planner, and a founding partner of Stefano Boeri Architetti. Among his most known projects are the Vertical Forest in Milan, the Villa Méditerranée in Marseille, and the House of the Sea of La Maddalena. He is the professor of urban planning at Polytechnic University of Milan. Early life, education and academic career Boeri was born into a bourgeois household in Milan, the son of Cini, an architect and designer, and Renato, a neurologist. His younger brother Tito is a leading welfare economist. Boeri earned a master's degree in architecture in 1980 from Polytechnic University of Milan and a PhD in Urban Planning in 1989 from Iuav University of Venice.
