The Bodil Award for Best Screenplay is a film award established in 2015 by the Danish Film Critics Association in collaboration with the Danish Writers Guild for the best screenplay that was handed out for the first time as an external award at the 68th Bodil Awards-ceremony. Fenar Ahmad
Fenar Ahmad (in Arabic فنار أحمد) is a Danish filmmaker of Iraqi origin. He was born in 1981 in Czechoslovakia to immigrant Iraqi parents. In 1986 the family emigrated to Denmark. There he studied film in the alternative film school Super16. Ahmad is known for the award-winning 2010 short film ''Megaheavy'', co-written by Ahmad and Jacob Katz Hansen and directed by Ahmad. It won Robert Award for Best Short Fiction/Animation for 2010 during the 27th Robert Awards in Copenhagen on 7 February 2010. In 2014, Ahmad directed the long feature film '' Flow'' (also known by the Danish title ''Ækte vare'') starring Danish rapper Kian Rosenberg Larsson, better known as Gilli. The Robert Award for Best Screenplay ( da, Robert Prisen for årets manuskript) is one of the merit awards presented by the Danish Film Academy at the annual Robert Awards ceremony. ''Another Round'' ( da, Druk, "binge drinking") is a 2020 black comedy-drama film directed by Thomas Vinterberg, from a screenplay by Vinterberg and Tobias Lindholm. An international co-production between Denmark, the Netherlands, and Sweden, the film stars Mads Mikkelsen, Thomas Bo Larsen, Magnus Millang, and Lars Ranthe. Tobias Lindholm
Tobias Lindholm (born 5 July 1977) is a Danish screenwriter and film director. His 2015 directed film ''A War'' was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film. In addition to ''A War'', he has directed the films '' R'' (2010), ''A Hijacking'' (2012), and ''The Good Nurse'' (2022). He has also written for multiple films and TV series. Early life Lindholm was born in Næstved in 1977. He graduated from the National Film School of Denmark in Copenhagen in 2007. Career Lindholm first received attention for his work as a television writer on the popular Danish political TV-series ''Borgen'', credited on all 20 episodes of the series' first two seasons, either as an episode writer or storyline contributor. Thomas Vinterberg (; born 19 May 1969) is a Danish film director who, along with Lars von Trier, co-founded the Dogme 95 movement in filmmaking, which established rules for simplifying movie production. Jakob Weis (screenwriter)
Jakob Weis (13 May 1879, Ommersheim, Saarpfalz – 18 March 1948, Zweibrücken) was a priest in the Diocese of Speyer, who also worked as a prison chaplain. During the First World War he became the army chaplain to the 12th Bavarian Infantry Division and Catholic pastoral care advisor to the Armee-Oberkommando Mackensen. From 1918 to 1920 he voluntarily joined soldiers in their internment so as to continue his pastoral care. Life Weis was ordained priest in Speyer Cathedral on 4 October 1901. He then spent time as a chaplain in Mittelbexbach (10 October 1901 – 30 August 1905), then time in Gersheim (31 August 1905 – 16 October 1905), then in Landau in der Pfalz (17 October 1905 – 30 June 1909). From 1 July 1909 to 27 February 1921 he served as chaplain to Zweibrücken prison, an extremely difficult and thankless pastoral post.
