Boccia At The 2024 Summer Paralympics – Pairs BC3
The mixed pairs BC3 Boccia at the 2024 Summer Paralympics, boccia event at the 2024 Summer Paralympics will be contested between 2 and 4 September 2024 at the South Paris Arena. Since this event is a mixed event, both genders, male and female, compete in the event. The competition starts with a pools stage, containing 4 pools with 3 teams each, followed by an eight-team elimination stage. Rosters Each team contains two athletes. All team have a male (M) and female (F) athlete. Classification The BC3 classification is described as follows: Results Pools The pool stage will be played between 3 and 4 September where the top 2 teams in each pool will qualify for the quarterfinals. ;Pool A ;Pool B ;Pool C ;Pool D Elimination stage The final stage (or knockout stage) will be played between 4 and 5 September. ;Elimination Matches ;Quarterfinals ;Semifinals ;Finals References

Grigorios Polychronidis ( gr, Γρηγόρης Πολυχρονίδης, born 13 August 1981 in Batumi, Georgia) is a Greek boccia player with a Paralympic boccia classification of BC3. His specific disability is Spinal Muscular Atrophy. He won the gold medal during the 2012 Summer Paralympics in BC3 mixed pairs along with Maria-Eleni Kordali and Nikolaos Pananos. He also competed in the 2004 Summer Paralympics in Athens and won the silver medal at the 2008 Summer Paralympics in Beijing. At the 2011 Boccia World Cup he won Gold in BC3 Pairs. At the 2016 Summer Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro, he was the flag bearer in Opening ceremony. Will Arnott
Will Arnott (born 12 March 1999 in Reading, Berkshire) is a Paralympian who made his Paralympic debut in boccia at the 2024 Summer Paralympics in Paris. Arnott was diagnosed with muscular dystrophy at the age of five. He attended Treloar School. Arnott initially competed in the BC4 classification, but after surgery at the age of 15 was unable to throw anymore so switched to compete in the BC3 classification using a ramp. He first represented the UK Boccia team at 2019 Zagreb Regional Open, where he won a silver medal alongside ramp assistant Connor Wellfare. The pair competed at the 2022 World Championships in Rio de Janeiro where they reached the quarter-finals, but were defeated by the Paralympic Champion Adam Peska of Czech Republic.
