Boca 45
Scott Hendy, also known as Boca 45, is a Disc Jockey, DJ and producer from Bristol, United Kingdom, UK. Career Since 2004 he has been signed to the independent record label, Grand Central Records. Prior to this, he released material on Hombré Recordings, Illicit Records, Superslick Stereo Sounds and High Noon Records. The name is derived from the Argentina, Argentine football (soccer), football team Boca Juniors, and a common name for a 7" single (music), single (so called because of the speed, in revolutions per minute, that a Gramophone record, record of this size plays at). After releasing his debut album, ''Pitch Sounds'', Boca 45 recorded two DJ mix albums that were released on Ninja Tune. Both albums contain 45 tracks and all tracks were taken from 7" singles. Boca 45 has also recorded with DJ Andy Smith under the title Dynamo Productions. They released one album entitled ''Analogue''. Disc Jockey
A disc jockey, more commonly abbreviated as DJ, is a person who plays recorded music for an audience. Types of DJs include Radio personality, radio DJs (who host programs on music radio stations), club DJs (who work at a nightclub or music festival), mobile DJs (who are hired to work at public and private events such as weddings, parties, or festivals), and turntablism, turntablists (who use record players, usually turntables, to manipulate sounds on phonograph records). Originally, the "disc" in "disc jockey" referred to shellac and later vinyl records, but nowadays DJ is used as an all-encompassing term to also describe persons who DJ mix, mix music from other recording media such as compact cassette, cassettes, CDs or digital audio files on a CDJ, controller, or even a laptop.
