Bobcat Fire
The Bobcat Fire was a fire that started on September 6, 2020 as part of the 2020 California wildfire season. By December 18, it was fully contained and had burned in the central San Gabriel Mountains, in and around the Angeles National Forest. It is one of the largest fires on record in Los Angeles County to date. Details The fire triggered mandatory evacuation orders in parts of Arcadia and Camp Williams. Little Rock Creek (Los Angeles County, California)
Little Rock Creek is a northwestward-flowing stream in the San Gabriel Mountains and Mojave Desert, within northern Los Angeles County, California. Its headwaters are in the Angeles National Forest, just west of Mount Williamson peak. Downstream the creek enters Little Rock Reservoir, impounded by Little Rock Dam. Station Fire (2009)
The Station Fire was the largest wildfire of the 2009 California wildfire season, as well as the largest wildfire in the history of Los Angeles County, that burned in the Angeles National Forest, igniting on August 26, 2009 near the U.S. Forest Service ranger station on the Angeles Crest Highway. The El Dorado Fire burned in San Bernardino and Riverside counties of California from September to November 2020.
