Bobby Parker (English Footballer)
Bobby Parker (born 11 November 1952) is an English former professional footballer. He played for Coventry City, Carlisle United and Queen of the South. He left Coventry City to join Carlisle United with whom he played for in their only season in England's top division along with Chris Balderstone, displacing Balderstone from central defence back into midfield. He then joined Dumfries club Queen of the South with whom he was part of Nobby Clark's side that won promotion to the then middle division of Scottish football in 1986. Jimmy Robertson (footballer Born 1955)
James Robertson (born 3 December 1955) is a Scottish footballer who played as a left winger from 1977 until 1993. Roberston played for Motherwell, Stranraer, Queen of the South, Morton and Clydebank. Career Robertson grew up in Glasgow and played amateur football with Newton Mearns Rovers and Muirend Amateurs before signing for junior outfit East Kilbride Thistle. Rangers manager Jock Wallace then signed Robertson at the start of the 1976–77 season. Robertson never made the first team at Ibrox and played reserve team football that season. At the start of season 1977–78, Motherwell manager Willie McLean signed Robertson. He went straight into the Motherwell first team in what was the third season of the Premier Division. Robert "Nobby" Clark (born 12 April 1950) is a Scottish former professional footballer who played for Partick Thistle and then served Queen of the South as both player and manager. John Christopher Balderstone (16 November 1940 – 6 March 2000) was an English professional in cricket and association football, football, and one of the last sportsmen to combine both sports over a prolonged period. He played football as a midfielder for Huddersfield Town A.F.C., Huddersfield Town, Carlisle United F.C., Carlisle United, Doncaster Rovers F.C., Doncaster Rovers and Queen of the South F.C., Queen of the South.
