Bobby Militello
Robert Philip Militello a.k.a. Bobby M. (born 25 March 1950) is an American jazz saxophonist and flautist who was a member of the Dave Brubeck Quartet. Career During the 1970s, Militello went on tour with Maynard Ferguson. He returned to Buffalo in the early 1980s and worked as a freelance musician. He moved to Los Angeles and spent the rest of the 1980s and early 1990s as a member of orchestras led by Bill Holman and Bob Florence. He toured and recorded with Dave Brubeck from 1982 to 2012. He leads a quartet that performs concerts dedicated to Brubeck. Blue Note Jazz Club
Blue Note Jazz Club is a jazz club and restaurant located at 131 West 3rd Street in Greenwich Village, New York City. The club was opened on September 30, 1981, by owner and founder Danny Bensusan, with the Nat Adderley Quintet being the featured performers for the night. The club's performance schedule features shows every evening at 8:00 pm and 10:30 pm and a Sunday jazz brunch with performances at 12:30 pm and 2:30 pm. The venue has also started a bi-weekly Late Night Groove Series giving New York's up-and-coming jazz, soul, hip-hop, R&B and funk artists an opportunity to showcase their talents on Saturday and Sunday mornings at 12:30 am. Ken Navarro
Ken Navarro (born June 9, 1963) is an American contemporary jazz guitarist. Career Navarro graduated from Claremont High School in 1984 at age 16, He worked as a studio musician in Los Angeles, performing with Dave Koz, Nell Carter, and Doc Severinsen. In 1990, he only 23, Navarro released his debut album, ''The River Flows'', on his own record label. His second album was nominated for a Grammy Award.
