Bobby King
Bobby King (born July 28, 1944, in Lake Charles, Louisiana, United States) is an American gospel-style, R&B and soul singer. He formed a singing duo with Terry Evans in the early 1970s. Since 1973, King has sung on most Ry Cooder albums. He was also the lead backing vocalist in Bruce Springsteen's Human Touch tour band of 1992–93. The duo also undertook recording sessions with Bob Dylan, John Fogerty, Harrison Kerle and Boz Scaggs. He has also released two solo albums, ''Bobby King'' (1981) and ''Love in the Fire'' (1984), and two albums with Terry Evans, ''Live and Let Live!'' (1988) and ''Rhythm, Blues, Soul & Grooves'' (1990). Lake Charles (French: ''Lac Charles'') is the fifth-largest incorporated city in the U.S. state of Louisiana, and the parish seat of Calcasieu Parish, located on Lake Charles, Prien Lake, and the Calcasieu River. Boz Scaggs
William Royce "Boz" Scaggs (born June 8, 1944) is an American singer, songwriter, and guitarist. An early bandmate of Steve Miller in The Ardells and the Steve Miller Band, he began his solo career in 1969, though he lacked a major hit until his 1976 album ''Silk Degrees'' peaked at number 2 on the ''Billboard'' 200, and produced the hit singles " Lido Shuffle" and " Lowdown". Scaggs produced two more platinum-certified albums in ''Down Two Then Left'' and ''Middle Man'', the latter of which produced two top-40 singles "Breakdown Dead Ahead" and " Jojo". Lewis Allan Reed (March 2, 1942October 27, 2013) was an American musician, songwriter, and poet. John Cameron Fogerty (born May 28, 1945) is an American singer, songwriter and guitarist. Gospel music is a traditional genre of Christian music, and a cornerstone of Christian media. The creation, performance, significance, and even the definition of gospel music varies according to culture and social context.
