Bobby Downes
Bobby Downes (born October 17, 1967) is an American film producer and the older brother of Kevin Downes. Downes is a leading American executive in faith and family entertainment. He founded ChristianCinema.com in 1999, which has become the largest independent retailer of faith-based movies in the U.S. and a leading Transactional Video on Demand platform. Downes holds degrees from California Polytechnic State University and has been involved in every aspect of film production for the past two decades. He has produced over a dozen feature films for the faith market, with his most notable work being the adaptation of Karen Kingsbury's novel, "Like Dandelion Dust." Additionally, Downes played a significant role in the publication and success of the #1 New York Times best-selling novel, "The Shack."
