Bobby Dotter
Bobby Dotter (born July 11, 1960) is a former professional stock car racing driver. His father, Bob Dotter, is a three-time champion of the Automobile Racing Club of America. Dotter has made 209 starts in the NASCAR Busch Series, posting 42 top-tens and four poles. In 2000, Dotter began running in the NASCAR West Series for Gene Christensen, winning four races and the Most Popular Driver Title. He finished second in points. Dotter is also a veteran of the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. He has seventy-three starts and five top-tens. He currently co-owns SS-Green Light Racing. Racing career Dotter got his start racing as a 16-year-old in 1977 driving one of his dad's late model cars at tracks like Waukegan Speedway and Raceway Park (Blue Island, Illinois). SS-Green Light Racing
SS-Green Light Racing is an American professional stock car racing team that currently competes in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, fielding the No. 07 Ford primarily for Joe Graf Jr. and the No. 08 for primarily for David Starr. They also have a technical alliance with Stewart-Haas Racing. The team is owned by former driver Bobby Dotter, who also drove for the team in numerous races when he was still driving. Stock car racing is a form of automobile racing run on oval tracks and road courses measuring approximately . Daytona International Speedway
Daytona International Speedway is a race track in Daytona Beach, Florida, United States. Since opening in 1959, it has been the home of the Daytona 500, the most prestigious race in NASCAR as well as its season opening event. Jeff Burton
Jeffrey Tyler Burton (born June 29, 1967), nicknamed The Mayor, is an American former professional stock car racing driver and current racing commentator. He scored 21 career victories in the NASCAR Cup Series, including two Coca-Cola 600s in 1999 and 2001 and the 1999 Southern 500. He currently serves as a color commentator for NBC Sports, having joined them upon their return to their coverage of NASCAR. New River Valley Speedway
Motor Mile Speedway (formerly Pulaski County Speedway, then New River Valley Speedway) is a 0.416-mile paved oval racetrack in Fairlawn, Pulaski County, Virginia, Dublin, Virginia. It was purchased by Shelor Automotive Group in 2004 and was subsequently renamed Motor Mile Speedway. History The track announced that it has cut all sanctions with NASCAR and discontinued its oval track racing in late 2017 but, reopened under NASCAR sanctioning in 2019. Raceway Park (Illinois)
Raceway Park (1938–2000) was a quarter-mile stock car race track located in Blue Island, Illinois, on 130th Street and Ashland Avenue between Western Avenue and Halsted Avenue, used for stock car races from the mid-1930s until 2000. In all advertising, it was billed as being located in Blue Island, Illinois, but was really located right across the border in the town of Calumet Park. History Raceway Park had originally been created as a dog racing track, but in the early 1930s, the state of Illinois made dog racing illegal.
