Bobby Dixon
Bobby Dixon or Ali Muhammed (born April 10, 1983), is an American-born naturalized Turkish professional basketball former player who played at the point guard position. He also represented the senior Turkish national basketball team, as he holds Turkish citizenship since 2015, under the name of Ali Muhammed. College career After graduating from Chicago's Sullivan High School, Dixon played college basketball at Troy University. In his two-year career with the Trojans, he played in 59 games, averaging 16.3 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 5.3 assists per game. He was also named to the 2005–06 All-Sun Belt Conference First Team. Professional career Dixon started his professional career in France with Saint-Étienne Basket. In May 2007, he signed a contract with the French League team Gravelines until the end of the season. Basketbol Süper Ligi
The Basketball Super League ( tr, Basketbol Süper Ligi; BSL), also known as the Türkiye Sigorta Basketbol Süper Ligi for sponsorship reasons, is the top men's professional basketball division of the Turkish basketball league system. It replaced the former Turkish Basketball Championship (1946–1966) to become the Turkish Basketball League (TBL) until 2015 when it adopted its current name while the TBL name became exclusive to the second-tier and third-tier divisions. The BSL is administrated by the Turkish Basketball Federation (TBF) and is contested by 16 teams, with the two lowest-placed teams relegated to the second-tier TBL and replaced by the top two teams of that division. Since the league's restructuring in 1966, 11 clubs have been crowned champions, with Anadolu Efes winning the title a record 15 times and Fenerbahçe 10 times. 2016 Turkish Basketball President's Cup
The 2016 Turkish Basketball Presidential Cup was the 32nd edition of the Turkish Basketball Presidential Cup. The game was played by the Turkish Basketball League and Turkish Basketball Cup champions Fenerbahçe and the Turkish League runners-up Anadolu Efes. Anadolu Efes made its 20th appearance, while Fenerbahçe played in its 13th President's Cup and won its 6th title. Venue Match details President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan was in the attendance for the game. By halftime, Anadolu Efes was looking at a 37–29 deficit. By the end of the game, the difference was stayed the same and Anadolu Efes never really came close to Fenerbahçe. Bobby Dixon, who scored 19 points was named the President's Cup MVP. The Turkish Basketball Presidential Cup ( tr, Cumhurbaşkanlığı Kupası), sometimes referred to as Turkish Basketball Super Cup, is the professional men's basketball super cup competition that takes place each year in Turkey. The competition began in the year 1985. One game is held to determine the winner of the competition. It is played between the winners of the Basketbol Süper Ligi and the winners of the Turkish Cup season. If the same team wins both the Turkish Super League and the Turkish Cup in the same season, then the competition takes place between the two league finalists from the Super League. 2014–15 Eurocup Basketball
The 2014–15 Eurocup Basketball season was the 13th edition of Europe's second-tier level transnational competition for men's professional basketball clubs, the EuroCup. The EuroCup is the European-wide league level that is one level below the EuroLeague. Khimki won the competition, after beating Herbalife Gran Canaria in the Finals, and earned a spot in the regular season of the 2015–16 Euroleague. Competition format The competition format was the same as in the 2013–14 season, but reducing the Regular Season. For this year 36 teams joined this first stage and were divided into two conferences. The Regular Season featured six groups of six teams each one, where the four best teams qualified to the Last 32 stage with the eight teams that do not qualify to the 2014–15 Euroleague Top 16. The 2020 Turkish Basketball Cup ( tr, 2020 Basketbol Erkekler Türkiye Kupası) was the 35th edition of Turkey's top-tier level professional national domestic basketball cup competition. The quarter-finals of tournament was held from 11–12 February 2020 in 4 different locations and then semi-finals and the final were held from 14–16 February 2020 in the Ankara Arena in Ankara, Turkey.
