Bobby Chawla
Ajay Bobby Chawla (born 2 December 1982) is a Danish cricketer. Chawla is a right-handed batsman who bowls leg break. He was born at Frederiksberg, Frederiksberg Municipality. Having played cricket since he was nine and represented Denmark at Under-19 level, Chawla made his full debut for Denmark in a List A match against the Durham Cricket Board in the English domestic one-day tournament, the 2000 NatWest Trophy. In that same year he played in the European Championships in Scotland. The following year, he played for Denmark in the 2001 ICC Trophy in Canada, making six appearances. In August 2001, he played his second List A match, against Suffolk in the 1st round of the 2002 Cheltenham & Gloucester Trophy, which was played in 2001 to avoid fixture congestion. 2012 ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier
The 2012 ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier was played in early 2012 as a part of ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier series. This edition of the qualifier for the 2012 ICC World Twenty20 was an expanded version comprising ten qualifiers from regional Twenty20 tournaments, in addition to the six ODI/Twenty20 status countries. It was staged in the UAE. ICC Associate and Affiliate Members from around the globe had the opportunity to qualify for the ICC World Twenty20 2012 in Sri Lanka. Oman National Cricket Team
The Oman national cricket team is the team that represents the country of Oman and is governed by the Oman Cricket Board, which became an Affiliate Member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) in 2000, and gained Associate status in 2014. The national side has played matches at Twenty20 International level. On 24 April 2019, Oman achieved One-Day International status for the first time until 2023, after they beat tournament hosts Namibia by four wickets in 2019 ICC World Cricket League Division Two. The 2009 ICC World Cup Qualifier was a cricket tournament that took place in April 2009 in South Africa. It was the final part of the Cricket World Cup qualification process for the 2011 Cricket World Cup. The tournament is the renamed version of the ICC Trophy, and was the final event of the 2007–09 ICC World Cricket League. Bowling Average
In cricket, a player's bowling average is the number of runs they have conceded per wicket taken. The lower the bowling average is, the better the bowler is performing. It is one of a number of statistics used to compare bowlers, commonly used alongside the economy rate and the strike rate to judge the overall performance of a bowler. When a bowler has taken only a small number of wickets, their bowling average can be artificially high or low, and unstable, with further wickets taken or runs conceded resulting in large changes to their bowling average. Due to this, qualification restrictions are generally applied when determining which players have the best bowling averages. The 2005 ICC Trophy was a cricket tournament held in Ireland between 1 July and 13 July 2005. It was an international one-day tournament played over 50 overs per side between 12 Associate Members of the International Cricket Council. Svanholm Park
Svanholm Park is a cricket ground in Brøndby, Denmark. The ground was constructed following the need for Svanholm Cricket Klub to move from their ground next to the Brøndby Stadium due to Brøndby IF needing to build a new stand which would have encroached on the ground. Svanholm Park was constructed by 1999 and contains three cricket grounds. The grounds overlap one another, so when the centre ground is in use, neither of the grounds flanking it can be used. The grounds facilities also include a purpose built pavilion and indoor practice facilities. Th ground first saw action when Denmark played Pakistan Emerging Players in 1999. Northamptonshire County Cricket Club
Northamptonshire County Cricket Club is one of eighteen first-class county clubs within the domestic cricket structure of England and Wales. It represents the historic county of Northamptonshire. Its limited overs team is called the Northants Steelbacks – a reference to the Northamptonshire Regiment which was formed in 1881. The name was supposedly a tribute to the soldiers' apparent indifference to the harsh discipline imposed by their officers. Founded in 1878, Northamptonshire (Northants) held minor status at first but was a prominent member of the early Minor Counties Championship during the 1890s. 2005 Cheltenham & Gloucester Trophy
The 2005 Cheltenham & Gloucester Trophy was the 4th Cheltenham & Gloucester Trophy, an English county cricket tournament, held between 3 May and 3 September 2005. The competition was contested by all 18 first-class counties, as well as 10 minor counties and the national teams of Scotland, Ireland, the Netherlands and Denmark, to make up a full 32-team tournament. The final was won by the Hampshire Hawks, who beat the Warwickshire Bears by 18 runs at Lord's on 3 September 2005. This would be the final year that the competition used a purely knockout format, and was also the final year to date in which the minor counties also participated. It would be the first year white balls and coloured clothing were used, although red balls and white clothing were still used in the early stages in matches between first class counties and the minor counties.
