Bobby Bowsher
Bobby Bowsher (born October 5, 1966) is an American former professional racing driver. He is a two-time ARCA Racing Series champion, winning the title in 1992, and again in 1994. He is the son of 1963, 1964, and 1965 ARCA Racing Series champion Jack Bowsher, and the brother of fellow ARCA competitor Todd Bowsher. Racing career Bowsher first made his ARCA Permatex SuperCar Series in 1988 driving the No. 01 Ford at Kil-Kare Raceway driving father Jack's family owned team, finishing 21st after starting 22nd. He would make 10 more starts and earn two top tens with a ninth at Pocono Raceway, and a fifth at Salem Speedway. Tim Steele (racing Driver)
Tim Steele (born March 1, 1968) is a retired American stock car racer. He won three ARCA Remax Series national championships and raced in NASCAR's highest three series. He was inducted in the Michigan Motor Sports Hall of Fame in 2009. Background Steele began racing as a 5-year-old in motorcycle ice racing. He finished second in Michigan's 125cc AMA motocross division. In 1984, the 16-year-old won the NAMRA Champ Cars division championship and was the division's Rookie of the Year; he also raced in International Jet Ski Racing events that season. He continued to move up the ladder and began racing late models at Berlin Raceway. Toledo Speedway is a half-mile paved oval racetrack located in Toledo, Ohio, United States. It is owned jointly by Roy Mott and ARCA President Ron Drager. It is operated by ARCA and run as the sister track to Flat Rock Speedway in Flat Rock, Michigan. History Toledo Speedway opened in 1960 and was paved in 1964. Bill Venturini
William Venturini (born February 14, 1953), nicknamed "Big Bill", is a retired American professional stock car racing driver. He is the founder and co-owner of Venturini Motorsports, a team that competes in the ARCA Menards Series. As a driver, he primarily competed in the same series from 1982 through 1996. Venturini has won two ARCA championships, which came in 1987 and 1991. Career Driving career As a driver, "Big Bill" Venturini made his ARCA Series debut in 1982. Robert Allen Keselowski (August 1, 1951 – December 22, 2021) was an American professional stock car racing driver. He owned K Automotive Racing and was a competitor in the ARCA Hooters SuperCar Series and the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. Racing career In the ARCA Series, he had 24 wins, 26 poles, and a 1989 championship. Keselowski was one of the original drivers in the Camping World Truck Series in 1995 when it raced under the name the NASCAR SuperTruck Series. Salem Speedway
Salem Speedway is a long paved oval racetrack in Washington Township, Washington County, near Salem, Indiana, United States, approximately south of Indianapolis. The track has 33° degrees of banking in the corners. Major auto racing series that run at Salem are ARCA and USAC. History It opened in 1947; two drivers were killed on the first lap of the first race. The track received major storm damage in 1981 and it was not used until 1987. A thunderstorm had ripped the roof off the grandstands and fences were damaged. Don Gettelfinger Sr. bought the track in 1987 and he replaced the fence with concrete.
