Bob Shoop
Bob Shoop (born August 18, 1966) is an American football coach and former player who most recently served as defensive coordinator at the University of South Florida. He also served as an off-field defensive analyst for the University of Miami, with previous service as defensive coordinator at Mississippi State, Tennessee, Penn State, and Vanderbilt. Shoop served as the head football coach at Columbia University from 2003 to 2005. Shoop played for Yale and professionally in the United Kingdom British League in 1988 and 1989. Playing career Shoop is a 1988 graduate of Yale University and both played and coached under Carmen Cozza. In his senior year, he was an honorable mention selection to the 1987 All- Ivy League team. Oakmont, Pennsylvania
Oakmont is a borough (Pennsylvania), borough in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, Allegheny County, in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. It is a Pittsburgh suburb and part of the Pittsburgh Metro Area. The Mississippi State Bulldogs football program represents Mississippi State University in the sport of American football. The Bulldogs compete in the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and the Western Division of the Southeastern Conference (SEC). Carmen Cozza
Carmen Louis "Carm" Cozza (June 10, 1930 – January 4, 2018) was an American football and baseball player and coach of football. He served as the head football coach at Yale University from 1965 to 1996, winning ten Ivy League championships and compiling a record of 179–119–5. Cozza was named UPI New England Coach of the Year four times and Eastern Coach of the Year. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame as a coach in 2002. Biography Cozza, the son of Italian immigrants, played quarterback at Miami University under coaches Ara Parseghian and Woody Hayes, graduating from Miami in 1952. American Football
American football (referred to simply as football in the United States and Canada), also known as gridiron, is a team sport played by two teams of eleven players on a rectangular field with goalposts at each end.
