Bob Kressig
Bob Kressig (born December 31, 1953, in Dubuque, Iowa) is the Iowa State Representative from the 75th District. He has served in the Iowa House of Representatives since January 2005. Kressig currently serves on several committees in the Iowa House – the Environmental Protection committee; the Public Safety committee; the Commerce committee, where he is vice chair; and the Local Government committee, where he is vice chair. He also serves on the Administration and Regulation Appropriations Subcommittee. Iowa Legislature
The Iowa General Assembly is the legislative branch of the state government of Iowa. Like the federal United States Congress, the General Assembly is a bicameral body, composed of the upper house Iowa Senate and the lower Iowa House of Representatives respectively. The Senate consists of four year terms and the House consists of two year terms. The General Assembly convenes within the Iowa State Capitol in Des Moines. Composition The Iowa General Assembly consists of 50 senators and 100 representatives. Each senator represents about 60,927 people and each representative about 30,464 people . Thomas Gerhold (born 21 June 1961) is an American politician. A member of the Republican Party, he was elected to the Iowa House of Representatives for the first time in 2018, from District 84. Early life, education, and career Gerhold was born on 21 June 1961. He was raised near Atkins, Iowa, where his family owned a farm. Cedar Falls is a city in Black Hawk County, Iowa, United States. As of the 2020 census, the city population was 40,713. It is home to the University of Northern Iowa, a public university. History Cedar Falls was first settled in March 1845 by brothers-in-law William Sturgis and Erasmus D. Adams. Initially, the city was named Sturgis Falls.
