Bob De Voogd
Bob de Voogd (; born 16 September 1988) is a Dutch field hockey player who plays as a midfielder or forward for Belgian club Braxgata HC, Braxgata. He was included to the national team in 2009 and won a silver medal at the 2012 Olympics, placing fourth in 2016. Club career De Voogd started playing hockey at his local hockey club HMHC in Helmond. After the club merged with another Helmond club he started playing for the newly formed club, HC Helmond. He played there until 2004 when he transferred to HC 's-Hertogenbosch, Den Bosch to play in the highest division of Dutch field hockey. In 2007 he transferred to Oranje Zwart. After Oranje Zwart merged in 2016 with Eindhovense Mixed Hockey Club, EMHC he started playing for the newly formed club HC Oranje-Rood. In January 2019, he agreed to play for Braxgata in Belgium from the 2019–20 season onwards. Helmond
Helmond (; called ''Héllemond'' in the local dialect) is a city and municipality in the Metropoolregio Eindhoven of the province of North Brabant in the Southern Netherlands. Helmond is home to several textile and metal companies. The Vlisco factory is located next to the Zuid-Willemsvaart canal, which runs through the city. The 2012 Men's Hockey Champions Trophy was the 34th edition of the Hockey Champions Trophy men's field hockey tournament. The tournament was held between 1–9 December 2012 in Melbourne, Australia. Men's Hoofdklasse Hockey
The Men's Hoofdklasse Hockey, currently known as the Tulp Hoofdklasse Men for sponsorship reasons, is the men's top division of field hockey in the Netherlands. The league ranks third in the European league ranking table. The league was established in 1973, and before the league existed the champions of the several district played in a championship pool to determine the national champion. Bloemendaal are the current champions, having won the 2021–22 season by defeating Pinoké in the championship final. Bloemendaal has the most titles with 22 followed by Amsterdam with 21. Format The season starts in August or September of each year and is interrupted by the indoor hockey season from November to February. From March the outdoor season will be continued. 2014–15 Euro Hockey League
The 2014–15 Euro Hockey League was the eighth season of the Euro Hockey League, Europe's premier club field hockey tournament organized by the European Hockey Federation. Round One was held in Barcelona, Spain from 10 to 12 October 2014 and the knockout stage was held in Bloemendaal, Netherlands from 1 to 6 April 2015. The final was played between UHC Hamburg and Oranje Zwart at HC Bloemendaal in Bloemendaal, Netherlands. Oranje Zwart beat Hamburg 6–5 in a shoot-out to win their first Euro Hockey League title. Euro Hockey League
The Euro Hockey League is an annual men's field hockey cup competition organized by the EHF for the very top field hockey clubs in Europe. The competition was launched at the start of the 2007-08 field hockey season when it merged and replaced the men's EuroHockey Club Champions Cup (the champions competition) and the EuroHockey Cup Winners Cup (the Cup Winners' competition). ''Eindhovens Dagblad'' is a daily Dutch newspaper based in the city of Eindhoven. In 2017 it had a circulation of about 80,000. History ''Eindhovensch Dagblad'' first appeared on 23 December 1911. In 1963 it was bought by the owner of its competitor ''Oost-Brabant''. The two papers merged and continued under the Eindhovensch Dagblad name. A year later the ''Nieuwe Eindhovense Krant'' also merged into this newspaper which had a minor change in its name due to a change in Dutch spelling: ''Eindhovens Dagblad''. The men's field hockey tournament at the 2020 Summer Olympics was the 24th edition of the field hockey event for men at the Summer Olympic Games. It was held from 24 July to 5 August 2021. All games were played at the Oi Hockey Stadium in Tokyo, Japan. It was originally scheduled to be held from 25 July to 6 August 2020, but on 24 March 2020, the Olympics were postponed to 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The 2014 Men's Hockey World Cup was the 13th edition of the Hockey World Cup, the quadrennial world championship for men's national field hockey teams organized by the FIH. The Eindhovense Mixed Hockey Club (acronym: EMHC) was a Dutch field hockey club, which was located in Eindhoven, North Brabant. The club was founded on October 14, 1921, and had about 1,000 members.
