Robert Franklin Bingham (born October 29, 1946) is a retired American actor and singer. Caiaphas
Joseph ben Caiaphas (; c. 14 BC – c. 46 AD), known simply as Caiaphas (; grc-x-koine, Καϊάφας, Kaïáphas ) in the New Testament, was the Jewish high priest who, according to the gospels, organized a plot to kill Jesus. He famously presided over the Sanhedrin trial of Jesus. The primary sources for Caiaphas' life are the New Testament, and the writings of Josephus. Josephus records that he was made high priest by the Roman procurator Valerius Gratus after Simon ben Camithus had been deposed. Pontius Pilate (; grc-gre, Πόντιος Πιλᾶτος, ) was the fifth governor of the Roman province of Judaea, serving under Emperor Tiberius from 26/27 to 36/37 AD. Kurt "Frenchy" Yaghjian (or Yahjian; born February 9, 1951, Detroit) is an Armenian-American actor and singer known for his appearance as Annas in the 1973 film '' Jesus Christ Superstar''. Biography Kurt Yaghjian is the only son of Haig Yaghjian, a former assistant conductor of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, and was a member of a school choir that participated in the premiere of Gian Carlo Menotti's ''The Death of the Bishop of Brindisi'' in May 1963. He is of Armenian descent. Menotti was impressed with the expressiveness of Yaghjian's face and recommended him to NBC for the role of Amahl in '' Amahl and the Night Visitors'' in 1963, the first time that the production was videotaped, previous versions having been shown live. In 1972, Miller's comedy '' The Creation of the World and Other Business'' closed after only twenty performances. Undaunted by its failure, he revamped it as a musical, a retelling of God's battle with Lucifer for control of Adam and Eve as chronicled in the Book of Genesis.
