Bo Kanda Lita Baehre (born 29 April 1999 in Düsseldorf) is a German athlete specialising in the pole vault. He won a silver medal at the 2017 European U20 Championships. His personal bests in the event are 5.90 metres outdoors (Berlin 2022) and 5.81 metres indoors (Düsseldorf 2022). Personal life Born in Germany, he is of DR Congolese descent through his father. The men's pole vault at the 2019 World Athletics Championships was held at the Khalifa International Stadium in Doha from 28 September to 1 October 2019. Summary The field contained a who's who of contemporary pole vaulters, save 2015 champion Shawnacy Barber. World record holder Renaud Lavillenie and 2011 champion Paweł Wojciechowski didn't make the final. In the final, 2013 champion Raphael Holzdeppe and Olympic champion Thiago Braz bowed out, unable to clear 5.80m. The 2019 IAAF World Athletics Championships () was the seventeenth edition of the biennial, global athletics competition organised by the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF), since renamed World Athletics. It was held between 27 September and 6 October 2019 in Doha, Qatar, at the renovated multi-purpose Khalifa International Stadium, but reduced to 21,000 available seats. 1,772 athletes from 206 teams competed in 49 athletics events over the ten-day competition, comprising 24 events each for men and women, plus a mixed relay. 2019 European Athletics Indoor Championships
The 2019 European Athletics Indoor Championships was held between 1 and 3 March 2019 at the Emirates Arena in Glasgow, Scotland. This was the second time this event was held in the city after the 1990 edition and the third time it was held in the United Kingdom, following the 2007 Edition in Birmingham, England. The three-day competition featured 13 men's and 13 women's athletics events and took place over three morning and three afternoon sessions. Bids Apeldoorn, Glasgow, Minsk and Toruń all submitted bids to host the 2019 European Indoor championships. The men's pole vault at the 2018 European Athletics Championships took place at the Olympic Stadium on 10 and 12 August.
