It was established by famed filmmakers Wong Jing, Manfred Wong and Andrew Lau during the success of the ''Young and Dangerous'' series The "BoB" of the title stands for 'Best of the Best.' Company Currently affiliated with Fortune Star, the company is best known for their opening credit flourish set to the "Best Partners" tune of '' Aces Go Places'' fame. Andrew Lau Wai-keung ( zh, t=劉偉強, born 4 April 1960) is a Hong Kong film director, producer, and cinematographer. Lau began his career in the 1980s and 1990s, serving as a cinematographer to filmmakers such as Ringo Lam, Wong Jing and Wong Kar-wai. Wong Jing ( born 3 May 1955) is a Hong Kong film director, producer, actor, presenter, and screenwriter. A prolific filmmaker with strong instincts for crowd-pleasing and publicity, Wong Jing played a prominent role in Hong Kong cinema during the 1990s. Biography Wong was born in Hong Kong, the son of noted film director Wong Tin-Lam. Manfred Wong (; Wong Man-Chun; born 5 June 1957, in Hong Kong) is a Hong Kong radio personality, film producer, screenwriter, film director and actor. He is best known for his involvement as a writer for the ''Young and Dangerous'' film series. Biography Born in 1957 in Hong Kong, Wong had studied at St. Paul's Convent School. Thereafter, he majored in communications at Baptist College, but dropped out before completion and took up the post as a TV copywriter. In 1972, he worked as a writer for magazines and newspapers. In 1977, he became a scriptwriter at RTV and was involved in several drama series such as ''Reincarnated'' and ''Dragon Strike''. The ''Young and Dangerous'' film series () is a collection of Hong Kong films about a group of triad young members, detailing their adventures, dangers and growth in a Hong Kong triad society. The series is based on a popular comic book series known as "Teddy Boy".
