BlueSky Software was an American video game developer based in California. Formed in 1988, BlueSky closed in March 2001, when parent company Titus Interactive was in financial trouble. The BlueSky trademark continued to be owned by Titus Interactive until their bankruptcy in 2004. ''Ninja Gaiden'', released in Japan as and in Europe as ''Shadow Warriors'', is a 1988 side-scrolling beat-'em-up game, originally released by Tecmo as a coin-operated arcade video game. It was first released in North America and Europe in late 1988, and then in Japan in February 1989. The ''Ninja Gaiden'' arcade game was produced and released almost simultaneously with its home console counterpart for the Nintendo Entertainment System, although they are different games with only a few similarities. The designer of the arcade game is only credited as "Strong Shima", but Masato Kato, who worked on the NES version, identified him as one "Mr. Iijima". It was the first game released in the ''Ninja Gaiden'' franchise. PC Globe is an atlas for MS-DOS, Microsoft Windows, Apple Macintosh and Atari ST, first released in 1987 by Comwell Systems Inc. It offered information on 177 countries and dependencies. The minimum system requirements of the initial PC version of the software are a IBM PC XT/ AT compatible computer running MS-DOS 2.0, 256 KB of RAM and a CGA graphics card. Distributed on multiple floppy disks, the program is divided into several menus that allow to user to access data. The database includes a geographic map of the world, with the possibility to select the country of interest. For each state there are maps and information (for example, the policy framework, the demographic situation as well as tourist information). ''Goosebumps'' is a series of children's horror fiction novellas by R. L. Stine. 62 books were published under the '' Goosebumps'' umbrella title from 1992 to 1997; the first was ''Welcome to Dead House''; the last was ''Monster Blood IV''. IBM PC compatible computers are similar to the original IBM PC, XT, and AT, all from computer giant IBM, that are able to use the same software and expansion cards. Such computers were referred to as PC clones, IBM clones or IBM PC clones. The term "IBM PC compatible" is now a historical description only, since IBM no longer sells personal computers after it sold its personal computer division in 2005 to Chinese technology company Lenovo. The Noid is an advertising character for Domino's Pizza created in the 1980s and revived in 2021. Clad in a red, skin-tight, rabbit-eared body suit with a black N inscribed in a white circle on his chest, the Noid was a physical manifestation of all the challenges inherent in getting a pizza delivered in 30 minutes or less. Though persistent, his efforts were repeatedly thwarted. History The Noid was created in 1986 by Group 243, the advertising agency of record for Domino's Pizza. Group 243 hired Will Vinton Studios to sketch the Noid and animate the commercials. Commercials that featured the character used the slogan "Avoid the Noid". Plot An extremely venomous spider has been accidentally brought from the Amazon rainforest to California and mates with a number of spider queens, creating a new crossbreed of venomous little spiders that kill people in one bite.
