Blue-Zoo Productions
Blue Zoo Animation Studio is a British animation studio known for producing children's television series, commercials and, short films. Founded in 2000 by Oli Hyatt, Adam Shaw, and Tom Box from Bournemouth University, the studio has gone on to win numerous BAFTAs and in 2021 won two Daytime Emmy awards. They have also previously won the Best Places to Work in TV survey by Broadcast and Best Companies Group. Some of the more well-known children's shows the studio has produced are ''Alphablocks'', ''Numberblocks'', ''Digby Dragon,'' ''Miffy's Adventures Big and Small, The Adventures of Paddington, and It's Pony.'' The company operates from a studio in Fitzrovia, London, where they have a team of over 200 artists. It later expanded to a second studio, adjacent to its main studio, thats 'dedicated to episodic 2D animation.' ''Those Scurvy Rascals'' is a children's animated series following the adventures of three underwear obsessed pirates. First aired by Nickelodeon UK in May 2005, it is now broadcast worldwide. The main characters Sissy Le Poop (called Jolly Roger in some versions), Smelly Pete and Shark Bait (plus Polly the Parrot) all live on the ship called "The Soiled Pair" and go on a different random adventure in every episode. ''Go Jetters'' is a British 3D animated television series, airing on CBeebies and is also available on BBC iPlayer. A geography-based programme, it was commissioned by CBeebies controller Kay Benbow and is a co-production of CBeebies In-house Production and BBC Worldwide. ''Q Pootle 5'' is a 2013 animated television series based on the books ''Q Pootle 5'' and ''Q Pootle 5 in Space'' by author Nick Butterworth. It revolves around the title character Q Pootle 5 and his friends, and is set on and around the fictional planet Oki Doki. Development Author and executive producer Nick Butterworth chose Q Pootle 5 from amongst his other children's books as the character to develop into an animated series because, as an alien, he would not be culturally tied to any one location. Tree Fu Tom
Tree Fu Tom is a British live-action/ CGI television series which has been shown on BBC and CBeebies in the UK and Universal Kids and NBC in the USA. It is set in a miniature magical countryside and village area (Treetopolis) on the top of a part of a trunk of a big tree in a British-type woodland, where the trunk turns horizontal and then vertical again. Its characters are mostly anthropomorphised arthropods (which are not to size scale with each other as in reality). ''Doodle Do'' is a British 2006 television programme targeted to and designed for pre-school children. It aired on the CBeebies channel between 2006 and 2010. The programme features three "Doodle Doers" — puppets called "Dib-Dab", "Scribble" and "Stick" — who interact with a human presenter, Chris (played by Chris Corcoran, a Welsh stand-up comedian). The programme first aired on 30 January 2006 on the CBeebies channel at 9am and again at 1pm and 5pm Local Time.
