Blow Up (Dutch TV Series)
''Blow Up'' is a Dutch television show in which contestants compete in balloon modelling. Martijn Krabbé and Chantal Janzen presented the first season of the show in 2022. Krabbé and Leonie ter Braak presented the second season of the show. Balloon artist Guido Verhoef served as judge in the first season of the show, together with a guest judge in each episode. Martijn Krabbé
Martijn Joop Krabbé (born 26 March 1968) is a Dutch radio and television presenter. Career Krabbé started his career in Dutch media as a 19-year-old in the Dutch TV programme "Popformule". Later, he hosted several Dutch television programmes, such as ''Idols (Netherlands), Idols'' (the Dutch version of ''Pop Idol''). He also hosted the Dutch version of ''The X Factor (Netherlands), The X Factor'' and ''Dancing on Ice (Netherlands and Belgium), Dancing on Ice''. Chantal Janzen
Chantal Janzen (; born 15 February 1979) is a Dutch actress, singer and TV presenter. She had parts in '' The Preacher'', ''Full Moon Party'' and '' Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo'' and presented '' Idols''. She also played Belle in the Dutch musical production of ''Beauty and the Beast'' (noted for being the first Belle with blonde hair) and Jane in ''Tarzan''. From late 2011 to mid 2012, she starred as Glinda in the musical ''Wicked''. She also sang a song against cancer, called "Vecht Mee" (English: Fight With Us) with Dutch rapper Yes-R. Leonie ter Braak (born 28 September 1980) is a Dutch television presenter and actress. She is known for presenting several television shows, including the talk show '' HLF8''. RTL 4 (Radio Télévision Luxembourg 4) is a Dutch free-to-air, free-to-cable television channel; it is the most-watched commercial station in the country, popular especially with those aged between 20 and 49. Balloon Modelling
Balloon modelling or balloon twisting is the shaping of special modelling balloons into almost any given shape, often a balloon animal. People who create balloon animals and other twisted balloon decoration sculptures are called Twisters, Balloon Benders, and Balloon Artists. Twisters often perform in restaurants, at birthday parties, fairs and at public and private events or functions. Two of the primary design styles are "single balloon modelling", which restricts itself to the use of one balloon per model, and "multiple balloon modelling", which uses more than one balloon. ''Blow Up'' is an Australian reality television show based on a Dutch format, in which ten artists compete to create the best balloon artworks for a $100,000 prize. It is hosted by Stephen Curry and Becky Lucas and judged by professional balloon artist Chris Adamo. The series premiered on 15 May 2023 on the Seven Network. The programme is produced by Endemol Shine Australia and was first announced in August 2022. It commenced filming in the same month in Melbourne, and was officially confirmed at Seven's 2023 upfronts in October 2022. After the first two episodes drew disappointing ratings, the series was moved to 7flix from its third episode. Stephen Curry (born 26 May 1976) is an Australian comedian and actor who has appeared in many television drama and comedy series, and feature films. Early life Curry was born in Melbourne in 1976.
