''Blow Up'' is a Dutch television show in which contestants compete in balloon modelling. Martijn Krabbé and Chantal Janzen presented the first season of the show in 2022. Krabbé and Leonie ter Braak presented the second season of the show. Balloon artist Guido Verhoef served as judge in the first season of the show, together with a guest judge in each episode. The format of the show was sold to Australia and Germany. The Australian version is hosted by Stephen Curry and Becky Lucas Becky Lucas is an Australian comedian, writer, and presenter. Martijn Joop Krabbé (born 26 March 1968) is a Dutch radio and television presenter. Career Krabbé started his career in Dutch media as a 19-year-old in the Dutch TV programme "Popformule". Later, he hosted several Dutch television programmes, such as ''Idols (Netherlands), Idols'' (the Dutch version of ''Pop Idol''). Chantal Janzen (; born 15 February 1979) is a Dutch actress, singer and TV presenter. She had parts in '' The Preacher'', ''Full Moon Party'' and '' Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo'' and presented '' Idols''. She also played Belle in the Dutch musical production of ''Beauty and the Beast'' (noted for being the first Belle with blonde hair) and Jane in ''Tarzan''. Balloon modelling or balloon twisting is the shaping of special modelling balloons into almost any given shape, often a balloon animal. People who create balloon animals and other twisted balloon decoration sculptures are called Twisters, Balloon Benders, and Balloon Artists. ''Blow Up'' is an Australian reality television show based on a Dutch format, in which ten artists compete to create the best balloon artworks for a $100,000 prize. It is hosted by Stephen Curry and Becky Lucas and judged by professional balloon artist Chris Adamo. The series premiered on 15 May 2023 on the Seven Network. The programme is produced by Endemol Shine Australia and was first announced in August 2022. It commenced filming in the same month in Melbourne, and was officially confirmed at Seven's 2023 upfronts in October 2022.
