Blossom Valley Athletic League
Blossom Valley Athletic League (BVAL) is a high school athletic conference in Santa Clara County, California. It is the county's largest high school sports league and is part of the CIF Central Coast Section of the California Interscholastic Federation. Structure and history Blossom Valley Athletic League comprises 26 high schools in Santa Clara County. The schools are separated into three divisions based on the strength of each specific sports program. The three divisions are Mt. Hamilton, Santa Teresa, and West Valley. It was the first high school sports league in Santa Clara County to cancel its Spring 2020 sports seasons in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Willow Glen High School is a public high school in the Willow Glen neighborhood of San Jose, California, within the San Jose Unified School District. Athletics Willow Glen High School has a swimming pool, a basketball court/gym and weight training room, a mini-gym that serves as a wrestling area, a baseball field, a softball field, a multi-purpose track and turf area, a sand volleyball court, and tennis courts.
