Blood For Irina
''Blood for Irina'' is a 2012 vampire film written and directed by ''Fangoria'' editor and film critic Chris Alexander, who also helped to create the film's score. The film had a mixed critical reception. The film released on November 2, 2012 in Belgium. A sequel, entitled ''Queen of Blood'', released in 2014. A third Irina film called ''Blood Dynasty'' released through Castle Films in 2017. Synopsis Irina is a century old vampire that is reaching the end of her existence. She's watched over by the motel manager, who is obsessed with the need to keep Irina safe. Also close by is a wretched prostitute who might be in a worse situation than Irina is in herself. Chris Alexander is a Canadian magazine editor, film critic, director, musician, composer, teacher and writer. Alexander was a member of the Toronto Film Critics Association and was the editor-in-chief of '' Fangoria'', an editor of American film website ComingSoon.net and a writer for the daily newspaper ''Metro News''. ''Queen of Blood'' is a 2014 vampire film that was written and directed by Chris Alexander and is a follow-up to his 2012 film '' Blood for Irina''. The film had its world premiere on 4 April 2014 at the International Horror and Sci-Fi Film Festival and has actress Shauna Henry returning to reprise the character of Irina. A DVD and VOD release will occur in September 2015. Alexander shot part of the film using his iPhone and stated that "my recurring effect of swirling blood and colored chemicals are captured by the iPhone with absolutely no color correcting or post-production interference." Kevin Graham Ogilvie (born December 5, 1962), known professionally as Nivek Ogre, is a Canadian musician, performance artist and actor, best known for his work with the industrial music group Skinny Puppy, which he co-founded with cEvin Key.
