Blood Revolt are a black metal band featuring A.A. Nemtheanga of Primordial along with J. Read and Vermin, who previously played together in Axis of Advance and Revenge Revenge is committing a harmful action against a person or group in response to a grievance, be it real or perceived. Francis Bacon described revenge as a kind of "wild justice" that "does... offend the law ndputteth the law out of office." Pr .... Described as "intensely militaristic", Blood Revolt attracted controversy with its 2010 debut, ''Blood Revolt'', due to lyrical content that assumed the perspective of a suicide bomber. Nemtheanga explained that the violence of the lyrics was based in realistic subject matter rather than "cartoon imagery or fantastical pseudo religious hocus pocus". For Nemtheanga, the subject matter is more effective owing to its realism: The concept of ''Indoctrine'' describes "a man's descent from alienation to martyrdom in eight chapters through religious indoctrination, ...

Primordial (band)
Primordial are an Irish extreme metal band from Skerries, County Dublin. The band was formed in 1987 by bassist Pól MacAmhlaigh and guitarist Ciarán MacUiliam. Their sound blends black metal and doom metal with Celtic music. History The band's roots stretch back to 1987 when Pól and Ciarán first began playing together with Pól's brother, Derek. The band (who were called Forsaken for a brief period) initially played a rough, hybrid mix of early, primitive thrash and death metal (playing covers of Death, Sepultura and the like). Vocalist Nemtheanga joined the band after seeing an advertisement for a singer in Dublin specialist metal store The Sound Cellar in 1991. According to Primordial lore, the ad was pasted over no more than 2 hours after it being put up. Upon Nemtheanga's joining the band, the band started to pursue a darker direction citing influence from Bathory, Celtic Frost and the emerging Greek and Norwegian black metal scenes. Primordial was the first blac ...

Axis Of Advance
Axis of Advance was a Canadian death metal band from Edmonton, Alberta, active from 1998 to 2008. Their music was described as "freaked-out, hyper and evil metal...not for the weak and not really for most rational human beings, but it will sound great to those looking for a slice of evil black metal the way it should be done." History The band began as Sacramentary Abolishment, which was formed in 1993 by guitarist/vocalist Wör (Jason McLeod), bassist/vocalist Vermina, aka Verminaard (Chris Ross) and drummer Paulus Kressman, who came up with the name. In 1997, Kressman left the band to start the solo project Rites of Thy Degringolade. Wör and Vermin recruited drummer James Read and re-named the band Axis of Advance. On Halloween 1997, Sacramentary Abolishment launched their album ''The Distracting Stone'' at Area 51 in Edmonton. Vermin brought a pig’s head onto the stage, ripped into it with a battleaxe, then pitched it into the crowd. In a 1998 interview with ''Russian Meta ...

Revenge's chaotic black metal sound represents a direct continuation of Read's previous band's direction. Although sometimes referred to as war metal the band has never referred to themselves as war metal and has always called themselves black metal, chaotic black metal or black death metal. They have released six full-length albums to date. The band's lyrics explore among other things various militant themes of anti religion, anti humanity, self ascension and the collapse and rebuilding of mankind.
