The full moon is the lunar phase when the Moon appears fully illuminated from Earth's perspective. This occurs when Earth is located between the Sun and the Moon (when the ecliptic longitudes of the Sun and Moon differ by 180°). This means that the lunar hemisphere facing Earth—the near side—is completely sunlit and appears as an approximately circular disk. The full moon occurs roughly once a month. Apes & Androids was an American electropop band formed in 2007 and based in Brooklyn. It includes former members of Call Florence Pow. The band became known for its extravagant live shows which included dancers dressed as zombies, and their mix of glam rock and electropop. Their debut album ''Blood Moon'' was released in 2008. Xquic (or Ixquic , ALMG: Xkikʼ, sometimes glossed as ''"Blood Moon"'' or ''"Blood Girl/Maiden"'' in English) is a mythological figure known from the 16th century Kʼicheʼ manuscript ''Popol Vuh''. She was the daughter of one of the lords of Xibalba, called Cuchumaquic, Xibalba being the Maya underworld. Noted particularly for being the mother of the Maya Hero Twins, Hunahpu and Xbalanque, she is sometimes considered to be the Maya goddess associated with the waning moon.
