Blood Lust EP
''Blood Lust'' is an EP recorded from 1982 to 1983. This red 7" vinyl EP includes a 3-second intro followed by 10 songs with an average length of 58 seconds for a total play time of 10:41. The Bergen County borough of Lodi, NJ was the spawning ground for hardcore punk band Rosemary's Babies. In 1980 when the band formed, the town had an effective population of 24,000 where the local high school produced other musical talents such as Danzig and The Misfits. In 2004, ''Blood Lust'' was re-mastered and re-released as Talking to the Dead under the same band and label names. This second release extended the play time to 38 minutes with the addition twelve new songs plus five tracks recorded live at CBGB in New York City. The only song not included here is 26 second ''Sanctioned Violence'', which was re-recorded with a run time of 2:29 and released on the album ''CAGED'' in 2008 when band front man and vocalist J.R. joined Septimus Orion. Rosemary's Babies
Rosemary's Babies was an American hardcore punk band formed in Lodi, New Jersey, Lodi, New Jersey in 1980. Its members included J.R.(Vincent C Paladino) - vocals, Post Mortem (Robert Montena) - bass, CA Richie (Craig Richardson) - guitar, and Eerie Von (Eric Stellman) - drums. The band was active until 1983 and produced a 7" EP titled "Blood Lust", released on the band's own Ghastly Records. A 2004 CD, ''Talking to the Dead (album), Talking to the Dead'' included tracks from the EP, previously unreleased songs, and tracks recorded live at CBGBs NYC May 15, 1983. Misfits (band)
The Misfits are an American punk rock band often recognized as the pioneers of the horror punk subgenre, blending punk and other musical influences with horror film themes and imagery. The group was founded in 1977 in Lodi, New Jersey, by vocalist, songwriter and keyboardist Glenn Danzig, and drummer Manny Martínez. Jerry Only joined on bass guitar shortly after. Over the next six years, membership would change frequently with Danzig and Only remaining the two sole consistent members. During this time period, they released several EPs and singles, and with Only's brother Doyle as guitarist, the albums ''Walk Among Us'' (1982) and '' Earth A.D./Wolfs Blood'' (1983), both considered to have significance to the early-1980s hardcore punk movement. Eerie Von
Eerie Von (born Eric Stellmann; August 25, 1964) is an American musician best known as the original bassist for the heavy metal band Danzig. His preferred bass is the Fender Jazz Bass. Early life Eerie Von was raised in Lodi, New Jersey. As a child he gained an interest in drawing and art. He grew up listening mostly to Elvis Presley and 50s rock and roll music. Eerie Von began playing the drums and taking lessons at 8 years old. He attended Lodi High School with future Misfits guitarist Doyle, who introduced Eerie Von to the punk rock music of the Misfits. It was in high school that he assumed "Eerie" as his nickname. Career Rosemary's Babies and Misfits Eerie Von became interested in photography in 1978. He would later strike a friendship with Glenn Danzig and the Misfits, becoming the band's photographer in 1981. ''Lost in Space'' is an American science fiction television series, created and produced by Irwin Allen, which originally aired between 1965 and 1968 on CBS. Septimus Orion
Septimus Orion is a recording project initiated with the release of its first studio album '' CAGED'' in August 2008. The album includes an audio version of Clifford Meth's short story ''Queers''. This short story was originally published in ''god's 15 minutes'' by Aardwolf Publishing. Personnel The album was recorded by musicians who were otherwise engaged in other recording endeavors, and thus Septimus Orion was not formed as a band, but as a collaborative creation. Former Celtic Frost drummer Reed St. Mark worked on this project while also working on the Triptykon project with former Celtic Frost bandmate Tom Gabriel Fischer. CBGB
CBGB was a New York City music club opened in 1973 by Hilly Kristal in Manhattan's East Village. The club was previously a biker bar and before that was a dive bar. The letters ''CBGB'' were for '' Country'', '' BlueGrass'', and '' Blues'', Kristal's original vision, yet CBGB soon became a famed venue of punk rock and new wave bands like the Ramones, Television, Patti Smith Group, Blondie, and Talking Heads. Danzig (band)
Danzig is an American heavy metal band led by former Samhain and Misfits singer Glenn Danzig. Formed in 1987 in Lodi, New Jersey, the group early on became a unique voice in the rock scene, playing a bluesy, doom-laden metal with Glenn Danzig crooning in the style of Roy Orbison and Elvis Presley. Danzig's openly satanic lyrics and image stirred controversy. After a major hit with a live version of its 1988 song "Mother", the band experimented with industrial music but later returned to heavy metal.
