Blok is a superhero appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. He has a massive, stony body possessed of incredible strength and endurance. Publication history Blok appeared in ''Superboy and the Legion of Super-Heroes'' #253 (July 1979) by Gerry Conway and Joe Staton in an era referred to as the Bronze Age of Comic Books. Fictional character biography Blok first appeared as a member of the League of Super-Assassins, where he was manipulated by the Dark Man, a clone of Tharok, into attacking the Legion of Super-Heroes. Blok M is a business and shopping quarter located in Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, Indonesia. It runs east from Iskandarsyah street to Bulungan street in the west. North from Falatehan street to Melawai street in the south. The development is similar to some of the developments near Kota, West Jakarta. On daily basis crowds of people throng its street, and even more so during night time. Much of the popularity of the quarter is due to the prices of goods (which are often low due to the relatively inexpensive property costs for vendors), and the night life.
