Blindheim IL
Blindheim Idrettslag is a Norwegian sports club from Ålesund, Møre og Romsdal. It has sections for volleyball, association football and team handball. It was founded in 1936, and the club colors are black and white. The home ground is Blindheim stadion, and the home arena is Blindheimshallen. The women's volleyball team last played in the highest Norwegian league in the season 2008–09. Known players include Ingrid Tørlen. Former footballers in the club include Jonatan Tollås and Marius Sætre. The men's football team currently plays in the Fourth Division, the fifth tier of Norwegian football. Ålesund () sometimes spelled Aalesund in English, is a municipality in Møre og Romsdal County, Norway. It is part of the traditional district of Sunnmøre and the centre of the Ålesund Region. Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. It has been a part of the official program of the Summer Olympic Games since Tokyo 1964. Beach volleyball was introduced to the programme at the Atlanta 1996. Handball (also known as team handball, European handball or Olympic handball) is a team sport in which two teams of seven players each (six outcourt players and a goalkeeper) pass a ball using their hands with the aim of throwing it into the goal of the other team. Ingrid Tørlen (born July 21, 1979 in Ålesund) is a Norwegian female beach volleyball player. Her beach volleyball partner since 2002 has been Nila Håkedal. Jonatan Tollås
Jonatan Tollås Nation (born 1 July 1990) is a former Norwegian professional footballer. Club career Tollås came to Aalesund in 2007 from local youth club Blindheim IL. He made his league debut on 1 July 2008 appearing in a 3–1 home win against Strømsgodset IF. He made regular appearances in the following matches, mainly due to center back Benjamin Kibebe being injured. Eventually Tollås would be a part of the a new up-and-coming generation of young players forming the backbone of the Aafk team. By the end of July 2008, ten out of eleven starting players were under the age of 22. His decent performance led to him being scouted along with teammate Peter Orry Larsen by the Serie-A side Udinese, however no deal was reached.
