Bio-layer interferometry (BLI) is an optical biosensing technology that analyzes biomolecular interactions in real-time without the need for fluorescent labeling. Alongside Surface Plasmon Resonance, BLI is one of few widely available label-free biosensing technologies, a detection style that yields more information in less time than traditional processes. The technology relies on the phase shift-wavelength correlation created between interference patterns off of two unique surfaces on the tip of a biosensor. BLI has significant applications in quantifying binding strength, measuring protein interactions, and identifying properties of reaction kinetics, such as rate constants and reaction rates. Bioluminescence imaging (BLI) is a technology developed over the past decade that allows for the noninvasive study of ongoing biological processes. Recently, bioluminescence tomography (BLT) has become possible and several systems have become commercially available. In 2011, PerkinElmer acquired one of the most popular lines of optical imaging systems with bioluminescence from Caliper Life Sciences. Background Bioluminescence is the process of light emission in living organisms. Bioluminescence imaging utilizes native light emission from one of several organisms which bioluminesce. The three main sources are the North American firefly, the sea pansy (and related marine organisms), and bacteria like ''Photorhabdus luminescens'' and ''Vibrio fischeri''. Bob Utley is a contemporary Bible teacher who is best known for his commentary series that covers the Old and New Testaments. Education Utley attended East Texas Baptist University from 1969 to 1972 and graduated with a Bachelors in Religion. He then pursued a master's degree in divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary between 1972 and 1975. In 1976 he continued post-graduate studies at Baylor University. His academic studies then went on hiatus until 1987 when he began a Doctorate in Ministry with Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, Illinois - which he completed in 1988. In 1991 he once again pursued post-graduate studies, this time in Koine Greek and Hermeneutics at Wycliffe Bible Translators Summer Institute of Linguistics. The station mainly serves Suffolk County, New York on Long Island. Its studios and offices are located on Sunrise Highway (NY 27) in West Babylon, New York. WBLI is a Class B FM station with an effective radiated power (ERP) of 49,000 watts, the highest powered station on Long Island.
