''Bleed the Sky'' is the second and final album released by the nu metal band Reveille from Harvard, Massachusetts. It was originally released on September 18, 2001 through Elektra Records Elektra Records (or Elektra Entertainment) is an American record label owned by Warner Music Group, founded in 1950 by Jac Holzman and Paul Rickolt. It played an important role in the development of contemporary folk and rock music between the 1 .... The album's initial 2001 release featured 13 tracks with the track "What You Got" being the first single. In the 2002 re-release a bonus track was added; a remixed version of "Inside Out" which went on to be the second single of this album. Reception In his review, AllMusic's Tom Semioli described the album's music as a "relentless brick wall of sound". Reveille (band)
Reveille was an American nu metal band from Harvard, Chelmsford, and Shirley, Massachusetts. History Formation and major label years (1998–2003) The band formed in 1998 and recorded a six-track demo that attracted the attention of major labels. After a standout performance at the famous CBGB in Manhattan, New York the band signed with Elektra Records. They gained nationwide exposure with their debut album, ''Laced'', in 1999. The album featured a guest appearance by Cypress Hill rapper B-Real. The band played Warped Tour 1999, Woodstock 1999, and Ozzfest 2000, and toured with Godsmack, Machine Head, and Powerman 5000. Reveille's follow-up album, '' Bleed the Sky'' was released in 2001. Cold is an American rock band, from Jacksonville, Florida, formed in 1986 by lead singer and rhythm guitarist Scooter Ward, drummer Sam McCandless, bassist Jeremy Marshall and lead guitarist Matt Loughran. Scooter Ward
Scooter Ward (born Ronald Ward Jr. on May 7, 1970) is an American musician who is best known as a founding member and lead singer of the rock band Cold. He has also performed occasional guitar duties both in the studio and live. Ward has been ranked in the Top 100 Heavy Metal Vocalists by ''Hit Parader'' (number 61). Career Grundig In 1986, Ward formed the band Grundig along with several other students; Sam McCandless, Jeremy Marshall, and Matt Loughran at Fletcher High School in Neptune Beach, Florida. The band played their first gig in 1990 at a club called the Spray. In 1992, the band released an eight-song EP called "Into Everything" and moved to Atlanta, Georgia.
