Blank is best known for his role as Michael Peterson in the television series ''The Parent 'Hood'' from 1995 to 1997 for which he also composed some music, as well as his appearance in Eddie Murphy's 1992 film, ''Boomerang''. Theodor Anton Blank (19 September 1905 – 14 May 1972) was a German politician of the CDU. He was one of the founders of the CDU in 1945. Blank was born in Elz an der Lahn. He was the third of ten children of a carpenter. His family was Roman Catholic. Blank received an apprenticeship as a carpenter. In 1930–33 he worked as a secretary at the Association of Christian transport- and factory employees of the northern and northwestern Ruhr Area. Dr. Marion Blank is the creator of several reading programs and the creator and former director of the A Light on Literacy program at Columbia University in New York. She is a developmental psychologist with a specialization in language and learning. Dr. Blank has developed a model for teaching reading that is based on six critical skills. Two are physical skills: the visual sequencing skills for reading and the fine motor performance for writing, and four are language skills: phonology, semantics, syntax and discourse.
