Blaine Cook
Blaine "Zippy" Cook is the former lead singer of the early 1980s Seattle political punk band the Fartz. After they disbanded, he went on to front the thrash oriented the Accüsed. Cook currently fronts Toe Tag A toe tag is a piece of cardboard attached with string to the big toe of a Death, deceased individual in a morgue. Hardcore punk (also known as simply hardcore) is a punk rock music genre and subculture that originated in the late 1970s. It is generally faster, harder, and more aggressive than other forms of punk rock. The Fartz
The Fartz were a Hardcore Punk band that was founded in 1981 and were one of the first well-known hardcore bands from Seattle, Washington. They were signed to Jello Biafra's Alternative Tentacles Record label. They were notable not only for playing incredibly fast and heavy music, but also for their politically and socially conscious song lyrics that criticized government policies, religious hypocrisy, racism, sexism, and poverty. The Accüsed
The Accüsed is an American crossover thrash band from Seattle founded in 1981. The band was a progenitor of the crossover style that bridged the gap between thrashcore and thrash metal, later influencing grindcore and some crust punk bands; as well as an influential band in the Seattle area alternative scene. The band calls their music "splattercore", and their zombie mascot, Martha Splatterhead, appears on most of their albums. Toe Tag (American Band)
Toe Tag is an American punk/thrash/hardcore band from Seattle, Washington. Formed by Blaine Cook (also from The Fartz), Alex Sibbald and Steve 'O Ring' Nelson, after leaving the early pioneering thrash metal band The Accüsed. They completed the line-up by adding Steve McVay on bass. With the knife-wielding, toothy-grinned Martha Splatterhead at their side, Seattle's own The Accüsed carved their way into the underground music scene, by becoming one of the cornerstones of crossover music.
