Blade (company)
BLADE Air Mobility, Inc. (stylized "BLADE") is a publicly traded company in New York City and incorporated in Delaware. It offers an urban air mobility platform. It allows users of its app to book seats on scheduled flights throughout the Northeastern United States, Northeast and West Coast of the United States, West Coast of the United States, and also arrange private charter flights. Although the Blade logo is emblazoned on some black-painted aircraft (most of which are helicopters), the company does not own or operate the aircraft. The aircraft are owned and operated by third parties and operate as Air Charters. Blade also operates hospitality suites in black-painted buildings at various heliport sites. The app permits flyers to book a seat on what appears to be a scheduled flight at a set price but is in fact air charters. Uber Technologies, Inc. (Uber), based in San Francisco, provides mobility as a service, ride-hailing (allowing users to book a car and driver to transport them in a way similar to a taxi), food delivery (Uber Eats and Postmates), package delivery, couriers, and freight transportation. Cynthia Rowley (born July 29, 1958) is an American fashion designer based in the Manhattan neighborhood of New York City. Early life and education Rowley is a native of Barrington, Illinois a northwestern suburb of Chicago. She is one of three children born to Ed Rowley, a former science teacher, and his wife, Clementine, who was a painter. Rowley made her first dress at age seven. Bombardier CRJ200
The Bombardier CRJ100 and CRJ200 (previously Canadair CRJ100 and CRJ200) is a regional jet designed and manufactured by Bombardier Aerospace between 1991 and 2006, the first of the Bombardier CRJ family. The ''Canadair Regional Jet'' (CRJ) program, derived from the Challenger 600 business jet, was launched in early 1989. The first CRJ100 prototype made its maiden flight on 10 May 1991. Canada's first jet airliner to enter commercial service was introduced by launch customer Lufthansa in 1992. The 50 seat aircraft is powered by two GE CF34 turbofans, mounted on the rear fuselage. The CRJ200 has more efficient turbofan engines for lower fuel consumption, increased cruise altitude and speed. During the late 1990s, it was stretched into the CRJ700 series.
