Blackout (Marcus Daniels) is the name of a fictional supervillain appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. He is the first character to use the name within the Marvel Universe. Patrick Brennan portrayed the character in two episodes of the first season of ''Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'' Publication history Blackout first appeared in ''Nova'' #19 and was created by Marv Wolfman, Carmine Infantino, and Tom Palmer. Fictional character biography Marcus Daniels was born in Flushing, Queens, New York City. He was working as a laboratory assistant to Dr. Abner Croit, a physicist hoping to build a device capable of tapping into energies from other dimensions. Monica Rambeau
Monica Rambeau is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by writer Roger Stern and artist John Romita Jr., the character debuted in ''The Amazing Spider-Man Annual'' #16 (October 1982). Monica was introduced as the second Captain Marvel, and she gained super powers after being bombarded by extradimensional energy produced by an energy disruptor weapon. Hood (comics)
The Hood (Parker Robbins) is a supervillain appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by writer Brian K. Vaughan, and artists Kyle Hotz and Eric Powell, the character was introduced in his own self-titled limited series, which started with ''Hood'' #1 (July 2002). Robbins was originally a petty criminal, until an encounter with a Nisanti demon, which he defeated and robbed of its hood and boots, gaining superpowers in the process, such as levitation and invisibility. As "the Hood", he became a well-known figure in the New York City criminal underworld, and eventually formed his own crime syndicate.
