Black Township, Posey County, Indiana
Black Township is one of ten townships in Posey County, Indiana. As of the 2000 census, its population was 10,288. The township is the largest both in terms of area and population in Posey County. History Black Township was organized in 1817. The township was named for the Black family of pioneer settlers. The Frederick and Augusta Hagemann Farm, Mann site, and Mount Vernon site are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Black Township, Somerset County, Pennsylvania
Black Township is a township in Somerset County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 899 at the 2020 census. It is part of the Johnstown, Pennsylvania, Metropolitan Statistical Area. The township was named for Jeremiah Sullivan Black, a native of Somerset County who became Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, U.S. Attorney General, and U.S Secretary of State. Geography According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of , of which is land and 0.02% is water. Black Township is bordered by Somerset Township to the north, Brothersvalley & Summit Townships to the east, Elk Lick Township to the southeast, Addison Township to the southwest, and Upper Turkeyfoot & Milford Townships to the west. George Town is a neighbourhood in Chennai (formerly Madras), Tamil Nadu, India. It is near the Fort Saint George, Chennai. It is also known as Muthialpet and Parry's corner. It is an historical area of Chennai city from where its expansion began in the 1640s. It extends from the Bay of Bengal in the east to Park town on the west. The Fort St. George is on the south, to Royapuram in the north. The Fort St. George houses the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly and the Secretariat.
