''Black Thunder'' is a 1998 action film directed by Rick Jacobson and starring Michael Dudikoff and Richard Norton. Rick Jacobson is an American film director, television director and producer, and stage and television actor. Biography A graduate from the California Institute of the Arts film and television program, Rick Jacobson began his professional filmmaking career with legendary film producer Roger Corman when he hired Jacobson to direct the martial arts actioner “FULL CONTACT”, Jacobson's first full-length feature film, at the age of 21. Nancy Valen is an American actress and television producer. She is best known for portraying Captain Samantha Thomas on ''Baywatch''. Early life Nancy Valen was born in Brooklyn, New York and raised in Hallandale, Florida. By the time she was 12 years old, she was spending summers modeling in New York City and studied acting at Uta Hagen's HB Studios. After graduating from Dillard High School of Performing Arts, a magnet program in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Valen won a theatrical scholarship to the University of Florida.
