Black Roses (1988 Film)
''Black Roses'' is a 1988 horror film directed by John Fasano and starring John Martin, Ken Swofford, Julie Adams, and Carla Ferrigno. The film's soundtrack features many bands of the era, including King Kobra, Tempest, Hallow's Eve and Lizzy Borden, among others. John Fasano
John Michael Fasano (August 24, 1961 – July 19, 2014) was an American screenwriter, film producer and director. In the length of his career, Fasano directed six films, produced twenty more, and wrote screenplays for at least eighteen others. Fasano spent much of his career working as a script doctor, working on numerous well-known blockbuster films including ''Tombstone'', ''Die Hard with a Vengeance'', and ''Judge Dredd.'' With novelist Roni Keller, he also wrote the book ''Evie and the Golem'', published in 2011. A weapons expert, Fasano was a frequent writing contributor to such authoritative magazines as ''Combat Tactics'', and ''American Handgunner''. Fasano was also a prolific Halloween mask designer. Rock 'n' Roll Nightmare
''Rock 'n' Roll Nightmare'' is a 1987 Canadian direct-to-video horror film directed by John Fasano, and stars heavy metal musician Jon Mikl Thor, Jillian Peri and Teresa Simpson. Plot Hoping to record some new music, the band Triton travels to an isolated farmhouse in Ontario, Canada, unaware that it is inhabited by murderous demons. Along for the trip are some of the band members' significant others, John's girlfriend Randy, Roger's new wife Mary, and Stig's girlfriend Lou Anne. Although some are disappointed at the lack of a television and other distractions, the band quickly begins to record new songs. The demons are also busy, as they begin secretly murdering and possessing the group's souls one by one, until only John is left. Bang Tango is an American hard rock band. The band was formed in Los Angeles in 1988 and was signed to MCA Records the same year. History Formation (1988) Initially the band was founded by guitarist Mark Knight and bassist Kyle Kyle in 1988. Knight wanted a second guitarist and recruited Kyle Stevens. At the suggestion of Rough Cutt's Amir Derakh, vocalist Joe Leste' joined the band as its frontman which led to Leste's childhood friend, Tigg Ketler, completing the five piece line up as Bang Tango's drummer.
