Robert Boyd (born October 17, 1970), known professionally as Dice, is an American rapper from Detroit, Michigan. Biography Dice began his career in 1992, signing with World One Records, who released his debut album, '' The 40 Made Me Do It'' through Raw Dogg Records. After touring with Ultramagnetic MCs, Ice Cube and Da Lench Mob, In 1993 Dice began his association with Reel Life Productions, Spring of 1993 Esham came to Dice's mother home to come meet with Dice for possible signing on his independent label which was the biggest selling independent record label out of the midwest, he did not sign a contract with the label. Following appearances on Esham's Closed Casket, Natas' '' Doubelievengod'' , Mastamind's EP ''Lickkuidrano'', and later on Esham's Dead Flowerz . Dice released the album ''The Neighborhoodshittalka'' on Reel Life in 1996. Dice estimated that the album sold 200,000 copies. Gangsta Rap
Gangsta rap or gangster rap, initially called reality rap, emerged in the mid- to late 1980s as a controversial hip-hop subgenre whose lyrics assert the culture and values typical of American street gangs and street hustlers. ''Red Rain'' is the fourth album by Detroit rapper Dice, released in 2002 by Fallen Angelz Entertainment. On October 31, 2006, the album was reissued with a second disc, ''Evil Angelz Runnin Thru Hell''. Production After recording the album, Dice claims that Colvin took his name off the Fallen Angelz ownership papers and didn't fairly compensate him for his service, "I gave Dice $10,000 in advance and was broke 2 months later". Fallen Angelz founder Russell Colvin claims that Dice agreed to put up $30,000 to bankroll the label, but never came up with his half. Esham
Esham is an American rapper from Detroit, Michigan. Esham released his debut studio album, '' Boomin' Words from Hell'', in 1989. Since then, he has gone on to release 15 studio albums in total and is best known as a representative of the hip hop subgenres horrorcore and rap rock. In 1992, he co-founded the horrorcore group Natas. He and his brother James Smith founded and ran the Detroit hip hop label Reel Life Productions. As one of the first rappers to receive attention in the city, Esham was often cited as a major influence on another Detroit horrorcore act, Insane Clown Posse. Esham is known for incorporating elements of rock music in his beats, and his lyrics cover a number of subjects, including death, drug use, evil, paranoia and sex. ''KKKill the Fetus'' is the third studio album by Esham. Released in 1993, the album's lyrics focus on subjects such as abortion and murder. The album, which has been cited as an iconic horrorcore album, has been praised for its genre-defining production and lyrics. It is considered to be Esham's critical breakthrough, compared to lackluster reviews of his previous albums. The single "Sunshine" received very heavy radio play nationally.
