New Hudson is a town in Allegany County, New York, United States. The population was 801 at the 2020 census. The town is on the west border of the county, northeast of Olean. History The area of the town was first settled ''circa'' 1820. New Hudson was set apart as the "Town of Haight" in 1825, from part of the town of Rushford and changed its name to New Hudson in 1837.
