Bjørvika Line
The Bjørvika Line is a tram line in Sentrum and Gamleby in Oslo. It opened as a rerouting of the Gamleby Line. The former route was closed down on the same day of this line's opening. It has two stops, Bjørvika and Middelalderparken. It runs along Dronning Eufemias gate and Bispegata, instead of through Schweigaards gate and Munkegata. It is served by lines 13 and 19. Line 13 operates between Bekkestua and Ljabru, while Line 19 operates between Majorstuen and Ljabru. The section in Dronning Eufemias gate was constructed in the early 2010s, but the section between Bjørvika and Oslo Hospital, was only completed in 2021. Bjørvika Tram Stop
Bjørvika is a tram stop in the Oslo Tramway. It was opened for daily use on October 4, 2020. It is served by lines 13 and 19. Ekeberg Line
The Ekeberg Line ( no, Ekebergbanen) is a long light rail line of the Oslo Tramway which runs from Oslo Hospital tram stop, Oslo Hospital to Ljabru in Oslo, Norway. Operated by lines 13 and 19, it serves the area of Nordstrand, Norway, Nordstrand and the neighborhoods of Ekeberg, Jomfrubråten, Bekkelaget and Ljan. The line is operated by Oslo Sporvognsdrift using SL79 and SL95 trams on contract with Ruter. The line itself is owned by Sporveien. At Oslo Hospital (station), Oslo Hospital, the line connects to the Bjørvika Line, which runs to the city center. Middelalderparken
The Medieval Park ( no, Middelalderparken) is located in the borough of Gamle Oslo in Oslo, Norway. The park was opened in the year 2000 at Sørenga in what was once the southern part of the medieval city of Oslo. The park is located within an area which also included the Minneparken and Ladegården on the north side of Bispegata. Development in the area is prohibited due to ruins and cultural layers above and below ground. In the park are the ruins of St. Clement's Church, St. Mary's Church and the former royal estate (''Oslo Kongsgård''). In the west the shore line meets the park's land area approximately where Oslofjord met Oslo during the Middle Ages (about year 1300). Dronningens Gate Station
Dronningens gate is a tram stop on the Trondheim Tramway, Norway Norway, officially the Kingdom of Norway, is a Nordic country in Northern Europe, the mainland territory of which comprises the western and northernmost portion of the Scandinavian Peninsula. Follo Line
The Follo Line ( no, Follobanen) is a high-speed railway between Oslo and Ski, Norway. The line runs parallel to the Østfold Line, and is dimensioned for . Most of the line, , runs in a twin-tube tunnel named the Blix Tunnel, which is the longest railway tunnel in the country. Construction started in 2015, and the line opened in 2022. The Follo Line increased capacity from twelve to forty trains per hour along the South Corridor, and allows express and regional trains to decrease travel time from Ski to Oslo from 22 to 11 minutes. The line was projected to cost over 26 billion Norwegian kroner (NOK) in 2014, but the final cost became 36.8 billion NOK when it was completed. Majorstuen Station
Majorstuen is a subway station on the Oslo Metro and a tram stop on the Briskeby Line of the Oslo Tramway. It is located in the Majorstuen neighborhood in the Frogner borough. Majorstuen is shared by all the subway lines, and, being located just after the tunnel entrance, it is the only such station not located underground. Majorstuen was originally the end station for Holmenkollbanen, and remained so until the tunnel to Nationaltheatret Station was completed. After Majorstuen the subway lines split up in three directions. Sognsvannsbanen runs northwards, Holmenkollbanen runs to the northwest while Røabanen and Kolsåsbanen are on a shared track to the west. The station has three platforms. Ljabru Tram Stop
Ljabru is a light rail tram stop on the Oslo Tramway. Located at Ljabru in Nordstrand, it is the current terminus of the Ekeberg Line. It was opened on 17 September 1941 as an extension of that line from Sæter. Bekkestua Station
Bekkestua is a station and tram stop that is served both by Oslo Metro on Kolsås Line and Oslo Tramway on Lilleaker Line situated at Bekkestua in Bærum, Norway. It is the terminus of the Lilleaker Line for tramway. Located between Ringstabekk and Gjønnes, it was reopened on 15 August 2011 after being closed on 1 July 2006. Between 1 July 2003 and November 2004, Bekkestua was the end station on the Kolsås Line. For a while the station was only being served by the Oslo Tramway line 13, while the station was closed for an upgrade. Since 2 December 2007, tram operations (on line 13) have returned on this line from Lilleaker to Bekkestua. Operations beyond Lilleaker use SL95 trams as there is no turnback loop at Bekkestua. Gamleby Line
The Gamlebyen Line ( no, Gamlebylinjen) was a section of the Oslo Tramway which ran east from Jernbanetorget along Schweigaards gate (street), past the Bjørvika then turns south along Oslo gate, and past Gamlebyen before becoming the Ekeberg Line. The section was served by lines 18 and 19 before it was replaced by Bjørvika Line since October 2020. History The line was opened by Kristiania Sporveisselskab in 1875 as a horsecar route between Stortorvet and Gamlebyen.
