Bjarne Undheim
Bjarne Undheim (12 January 1905 – 28 May 1988) was a Norwegian educator and politician for the Centre Party. He was born in Time. He obtained a cand.real. degree from the University of Oslo in 1930 and worked as a teacher and later principal at high schools in Rogaland. Time is a municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. It is located in the traditional district of Jæren. The administrative centre of the municipality is the town of Bryne. Some villages in the municipality include Kvernaland, Lyefjell, Mossige, and Undheim. Most of Time is fairly flat and it is used for agriculture. Candidatus realium or candidata realium (abbreviated cand. real.) is a former academic degree used in Norway, and conferred in mathematics and natural sciences. It was abolished in 1985. There was originally no set duration for the completion of this degree, although 7–8 years was normal, and including a dissertation which usually took between 2 and 4 years to complete.
