Bjarne Orten
Bjarne Orten (22 December 1919 – 14 January 2011) was a Norwegian civil servant. A jurist by education, he worked as an attorney before entering a career in the Norwegian State Housing Bank. This career spanned thirty-nine years, including the period 1972 to 1987 when he was CEO. He was also deputy chairman as well as member of the board of the Norges Juristforbund, and president of the Norwegian Gymnastics Association. Norwegian State Housing Bank
The Norwegian State Housing Bank ( no, Husbanken) is a Norwegian Government agency responsible for the housing politics in Norway. The main tool for the bank is mortgages in newly constructed houses. About half of all houses after World War II in Norway have been financed by the Housing Bank. The agency is based in Drammen Drammen () is a city and municipality in Viken, Norway. The port and river city of Drammen is centrally located in the south-eastern and most populated part of Norway. Ivar Leveraas
Ivar Leveraas (born 17 July 1939) is a Norwegian civil servant and politician for the Labour Party. Leveraas was born in Haugesund. A mechanic by education, he worked as a secretary in Arbeidernes Opplysningsforbund (AOF) from 1970 to 1975. From 1975 to 1986 he was the secretary of the Labour party. He then was CEO of the Norwegian State Housing Bank from 1986 to 1994 and director of the Norwegian Labour Inspection Authority from 1994 to 2006. In 2006, Leveraas was appointed by the Government as leader of The National Council for Senior Citizens. He is now in his second term for the council. He has also graduated from the military academy and has a financial-administrative qualification and a masters in management and leadership.
