Bishop Heber High School
Bishop Heber High School is a comprehensive secondary school in Malpas, Cheshire, England. The school is named after bishop Reginald Heber (1783–1826), who was born in Malpas and is remembered as a hymn-writer. In 2011, the school was rated outstanding in that year's Ofsted inspection. In January 2022, the school criticised for allowing only school-branded coats to be worn on site. Parents claimed that children were in jumpers and 'freezing' while staff were in warm coats. Foundation School
In England and Wales, a foundation school is a state-funded school in which the governing body has greater freedom in the running of the school than in community schools. Foundation schools were set up under the School Standards and Framework Act 1998 to replace grant-maintained schools, which were funded directly by central government. Ben Foden
Benjamin James Foden (born 22 July 1985) is an English rugby union player who plays for Rugby United New York (RUNY) in Major League Rugby (MLR). A fullback or scrum-half, he won 34 caps for England between 2009 and 2013. He also plays as a Wing. Benjamin Luke Woodburn (born 15 October 1999) is a professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Preston North End and the Wales national team. Woodburn joined the football academy of Liverpool when he was seven years old. Vicky Thornley
Victoria Thornley (born 30 November 1987) is a Welsh rower. She won a silver medal for Great Britain with Katherine Grainger in the women's double sculls at the 2016 Summer Olympics. She was also a member of the Great Britain team that finished fifth in the women's eight at the 2012 Summer Olympics, and finished fourth in the single sculls at the 2020 Summer Olympics. Josephine Julia Fletcher (born 31 December 1980) is an English footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Watford. She played at full international level for England. Malpas is an ancient market town and a civil parish in the unitary authority of Cheshire West and Chester and the ceremonial county of Cheshire, England. Thomas Michael Curry (born 15 June 1998) is an English rugby union player, currently playing with the Sale Sharks. He plays primarily as a flanker but has also been capped at Number 8 for England.
