Birte Christoffersen (later Hanson, then Ekberg; born 28 March 1924) is a Danish retired diver. She competed in the 3 m springboard and 10 m platform for Denmark at the 1948 Summer Olympics and for Sweden at the 1956 and 1960 Summer Olympics The 1960 Summer Olympics ( it, Giochi Olimpici estivi del 1960), officially known as the Games of the XVII Olympiad ( it, Giochi della XVII Olimpiade) and commonly known as Rome 1960 ( it, Roma 1960), were an international multi-sport event held .... Birte Glang (born 15 April 1980) is a German actress, brand ambassador, and fashion model. She started her career as a series regular on the award winning TV soap opera ''Unter uns''. In 2012, she starred in the German James Bond parody ''Agent Ranjid rettet die Welt.'' In 2014, she was booked for a film with the comedian Nick Offerman. Birte Høeg Brask
Birte Høeg Brask nicknamed Trille (1918–1997) was a Danish resistance fighter and physician. During the German occupation of Denmark in World War II, she became a member of the Danish resistance. As a communist, after Germany attacked the Soviet Union in 1941, together with her husband Kjartan Munck, she contributed to the first clandestine publications in Denmark. She went on to collaborate with the writer and resistance fighter Børge Houmann, working as a courier, organizing illegal meetings and contributing to the resistance papers ''Land og Folk'' and ''Ugens Nyt''. Continuing her studies after the war, she became a specialist at the children's psychiatric hospital in Aarhus. From 1970 until her retirement in 1988, she held the position of chief consultant. Birte Melsen (born 9 June 1939) is an orthodontist from Denmark. She was the past President of European Orthodontic Society in 2004 and has made significant contributions in the field of orthodontics with her research, publishing about 350 papers in scientific journals on topics related to Anchorage (orthodontics) and adult orthodontics. Life and career Birthe Melsen was born in Aabenraa, Denmark in 1939. She received her dental degree in 1964 from Aarhus University in Aarhus, Denmark. Birte Siim (born 1945) is a Danish political scientist specializing in gender studies. From 2004 to 2018, she was professor at the Institute for Culture and Global Studies at Aalborg University where she managed FREIA, the Centre of Gender Research. Her numerous books and publications have addressed gender and politics from a European perspective. Birte Weigang (born 31 January 1968 in Leipzig) is a former butterfly and backstroke swimmer from East Germany, who won three medals at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, South Korea. The twenty-year-old triumphed with the DDR women's relay team in the 4×100 m medley together with her teammates Kristin Otto, Silke Hörner and Katrin Meissner, and finished second in both the 100 m and the 200 m butterfly.
