Birsa Agricultural University
Birsa Agricultural University is an agricultural university at Kanke, Ranchi in the Indian state of Jharkhand. It was established on 26 June 1981, after its formal inauguration by Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. Overview Its primary objective is to develop area specific technologies and manpower in the fields of agriculture, animal husbandry and forestry for the development of the plateau region of Bihar and Jharkhand. In addition, economic uplifting of tribal and other backward class population of the region is a priority. Governor Of Jharkhand
The governor of Jharkhand is a nominal head of the Indian state of Jharkhand and permanent representative of president of India. The governor is appointed by the president of India for a five-year term. Raj Bhavan in Ranchi serves as the official residence. Since 14 July 2021, the governor of Jharkhand is Ramesh Bais.
