Bio-based building materials incorporate biomass, which is derived from renewable materials of biological origin such as plants, (normally co-products from the Agroforestry, agro-industrial and forestry sector), animals, enzymes, and microorganisms, including bacteria, Fungus, fungi, and yeast.
