Bindhast
''Bindhast'' (English:''Carefree'') is a 1999 Marathi-language thriller film directed by Chandrakant Kulkarni and produced by Matchindra Chate. The film is known for its all-women cast. The film was remade in Tamil as ''Snegithiye'' and in Malayalam as ''Raakilipattu''. The climax plot twist was also used in ''Bhagam Bhag'' and all the adaptations are directed by Priyadarshan. Plot Mayuri (Gautami Kapoor) and Vaijayanta aka Vaiju (Sharvari Jamenis) are two fast friends studying in the same girls college. When a girl stab by her boyfriend after being harassed and blackmailed by a boy named Rahul. ACP Nisha Velankar (Mona Ambegaonkar) arrests him and throws him in jail, where he later commits suicide. Nisha is an ex-alumni of the college and later gets invited as chief guest of the college's silver jubilee function. Seema Biswas
Seema Biswas (born 14 January 1965) is an Indian actress who works in Hindi films and the theatre. She gained prominence after playing the role of Phoolan Devi in Shekhar Kapur's film '' Bandit Queen'' (1994), for which she won the National Film Award for Best Actress. Chandrakant Kulkarni (born 1963) is an Indian director, script writer and actor associated with Marathi theatre and film. He is known for his works of directing the plays ''Wada Chirebandi'', ''Dhyanimani'', ''Gandhi Virudh Gandhi'' and most recently the remake of ''Hamidabaichi Kothi''. He has also directed the acclaimed films ''Bindhaast'' (1999) and ''Tukaram'' (2012). Reshma ( ur, ; c.1947 – 3 November 2013), was a Pakistani folk singer. Awarded with Sitara-e-Imtiaz (Star of Distinction), the third highest honour and civilian award in Pakistan among other honours, she is remembered for folk songs and her powerful singing voice. Born in Rajasthan, India in a nomadic Banjara household in 1947, her family relocated to Karachi after the Partition of India.
